Collection of drawings, collages, song lyrics and poems by Anna McCarthy.
A romantic diary about love, heartbreak, bad memory, drug dealing brothers,
dead revolutionaries, lying family trees and dogs that act like cats,
all
wrapped up in dusty pastels, dark velvety scratches, sticky fake leather
to the touch and every colour of the rainbow dipped in dark light.
"R.I.P. & HANG" it says - tear out any page you desire and hang
it on your wall.
All printed by hand and herzblut.
ART PRISON #2: REVOLUTION & ITS MUSES
was printed within the framework of Knust's Work Holidays series "ART
PRISON".
It was made collaboratively at Extrapool, Nijmegen, from June 27th til
July 9th, 2011 by Anna McCarthy, Jan Dirk de Wilde, Joyce Guley, Maria
Guggenbichler, Polona Kuzman and Tagar.
Edition of 330, 31 pages (20 full colour stencilprinted pages), 215 x 285
mm, comes in a shiny fake leather UV-ink printed and full colour dust cover,
cold glue bound perforated pages in a burgundy coloured cloth spine.
